Applications to Participate in BETA Backers Due
We are currently seeking investors to participate in the next BETA Backers – an event that connects funders with top emerging Minnesota startups.
BETA Backers is a curated connection event where investors will receive pitch decks from Minnesota-based startups and choose up to six companies to meet with in-person or virtually on Tuesday, September 20th from 4:30PM to 6PM CT. Investors will also receive a “Look Book” of all companies participating so that they can reach out directly to startups of interest.
Our BETA Backers matching process is double opt-in for both our startup teams and participating investors. Below is the selection timeline.
Aug 26 – Investor applications due (or asap)
Sept 4 – Startup applications due
Sept 5 – BETA team sends investors startup look book and pitch decks
Sept 12 – Investor preferences due
Sept 12 – BETA team creates meeting schedules based on investment thesis and startup & investor preferences
Sept 12 – BETA team sends investors meeting schedule
Sept 14 – Investor feedback / confirmation due
Sept 15 – Investors and startups receive final meeting schedules
Sep 20 – BETA Backers event
