At a Startup Sprint, you will prototype, test, & pitch an idea, while learning the basics of customer discovery and validation, in 2 days.

IN PERSON, 2 Days

Startup Sprints are two-day key Idea Stage (pre-venture) events to inspire, educate, and connect aspiring entrepreneurs.

RWI’s Startup Sprint creates an opportunity for RWI’s local and national entrepreneurial networks, including students, entrepreneurs, mentors, cofounders, subject matter experts, investors, and community leaders to come together.

Participants will begin the event by presenting their startup ideas or innovations for a problem they’re looking to solve. With support from RWI’s mentors, teams will be assigned to top ideas. They will work together over the following two days to develop a final pitch for RWI’s extended network. In addition to a window into startup life for potential entrepreneurs, Startup Sprints offer:

Targeted networking opportunities and publicity for local entrepreneurs

Knowledge-building educational sessions and speakers on personal startup stories, business model development, and preparing to pitch

Entry points for interested participants to RWI’s existing entrepreneurship programs and events

A fun, community-building experience for all
