The School of Data: Predict with a BigQuery ML Model & NCAA Bracketology

You’ve got some data, and now what to do with it? Work with BigQuery Machine Learning this week as we complete a lab where we predict taxi fare and predict NCAA tournament brackets (sounds cool, right?). Impress your classmates or coworkers!

This week’s hands-on labs:

Predict Taxi Fare with a BigQuery ML Forecasting Model

In this lab you will explore millions of New York City yellow taxi cab trips available in a BigQuery Public Dataset, create a ML model inside of BigQuery to predict the fare, and evaluate the performance of your model to make predictions.

Bracketology with Google Machine Learning

In this lab you use Machine Learning (ML) to analyze the public NCAA dataset and predict NCAA tournament brackets.

You’ll work through Google Cloud labs to get hands-on experience and when you complete each whole quest, you earn a badge for your LinkedIn!

We’re learning and sharing Google Cloud skills weekly hands-on events using Qwiklabs to help you learn more about Cloud Computing and running your projects on Google servers in the cloud.

Invite a friend who could benefit, and we’ll be happy to help them also get access to and to help them get started

Don’t miss out on the fun on Wednesdays as we learn cloud computing skills, one week at a time, with a goal of helping you level up!
