A career in tech as a developer is rich with opportunity and can be personally and financially rewarding. Join Women Who Code and our Partner Criteo to learn how to transition to tech in 2023. Alejandra Paredes, Software Engineer, will share her journey of transitioning to a career as a developer.

Join this session for a discussion on the stereotypes related to Software Engineers, actionable insight from Alejandra on navigating the professional training required to become a developer, and how to conquer any internal doubt preventing you from pursuing a career change.

Alejandra is a Software Developer at Criteo. She works on the unification of information to help other teams to be more efficient in search. She changed her career path five years ago from marketing to programming. She is committed to keeping in touch with her emotions while developing her professional self. While coding, Alejandra loves to knit as it helps her to debug faster.
