Meet Kristi Piehl

Kristi Piehl is the Founder and CEO of Media Minefield. She started the company in 2010 following a 12-year career as an Emmy Award-winning television news reporter. Media Minefield is a one-of-a-kind, national award-winning PR agency specializing in earned media, social media, digital advertising and crisis communication.

As a messaging expert and storyteller, Kristi has a unique perspective and is on a mission to innovate the public relations industry. She is a passionate believer in the power of storytelling, a champion for women in business and fights fiercely for family-first work policies.

Kristi is the host of the Flip Your Script podcast where she interviews people who faced a critical turning point in their life and explores how they found the inspiration to move forward and rewrite their own unique story. Kristi is frequently invited to be a keynote speaker, is interviewed on various local and national news outlets and is also a regular contributing writer for Inc. Masters.
