Fredrikson, one of the Upper Midwest’s largest law firms, has an opportunity available for a Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO). Fredrikson’s CHRO will provide strategic and tactical direction and oversight for all aspects of Human Resource (HR) functions including (attorney, paralegal, legal administrative assistant, and other business and professional staff): employee policy development and administration; compensation and benefits; performance management and advancement; employee relations; training and professional development; recruitment, retention, and staffing; inclusion and diversity; payroll and personnel records management; and related budgets.
Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of successful leadership experience in the HR functions described above in a law firm or other professional services setting and working collaboratively with other executive management personnel.
Qualified candidates must have a solid understanding of law firm business needs analysis and change management, a bachelor’s degree (ideally in HR or Business), excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel.
