Who We Are

CloseSimple is a Property Tech (Proptech) SaaS company based in Minneapolis, MN. At CloseSimple, we help Title & Escrow companies provide an elevated experience throughout the life of a Real Estate transaction. We’re the “pizza tracker” for title!

This is a hybrid position located in Minneapolis, MN.

What You’ll Do

– Work with the Product Team to build flexible business solutions using technology.
– Maintain existing products, fix issues, and implement new features with an observance to the Secure-SDLC with guidance from senior engineers.
– Help refine and execute tasks with the Product Owner and Product Team using the Scrum agile framework.
– Assist the internal Technical Success Managers, Customer Success Managers and Support Team troubleshoot and adopt solutions built by the Product Team.
– Troubleshoot product issues with customers.
– Write unit tests, automated tests and test scenarios for the quality department.
– Propose functional and technical fixes and improvements to the CloseSimple product line.
– Create/maintain technical documentation as needed for a task.
– Follow company coding standards and practices as defined by CTO.

Requirements

– Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Associate’s Degree in Applied Sciences, or related IT field.
– Experience with AWS, Azure or Google services. AWS services experience with microservices is a bonus.
– Interest / experience with serverless architecture (unless building in ec2)
– 6 months/1 year of experience in any of the following:
Cloudformation, IAM, lambdas, api gateway, s3, step functions, cloudfront, dynamo, cognito, codepipeline, athena, glue. Each of Azure and GCP (or any other provider)
– 6 months/1 year of experience in:
TypeScript/JavaScript and/or C#
Creating and querying relational or NoSQL databases.
– General knowledge of information security, data encryption and OWASP standards.
– Able to work efficiently with guidance of senior engineers.
– Availability for occasional night and weekend releases.

Desired Skills (not required):

– Proficiency/interest creating or consuming APIs.
– Certificates/TLS/Encryption and keeping up with industry standards for security
– Experience with unit tests and experience with continuous integration/deployment.
– Experience working in an Agile environment.
– Experience building front end applications such as Single Page Applications using React/Angular.
– Strong self organization, communication and problem solving skills.
– Be able to adapt to a fast moving environment.
