Our mission is simple: End Cyber Risk. We’re looking for an IT Cloud Systems Manager to be part of making this happen.

 

The IT Cloud System Manager will contribute to our IT Infrastructure, by providing high quality operational and technical cloud application and cloud infrastructure management to internal business functions at Arctic Wolf, while also working closely with our internal stakeholders to minimize the adverse impact of incidents and problems and preventing reoccurrence of incidents.

 

Requirements:

  • Lead & manage daily operations of the Cloud Operations team including alignment & execution with strategic business objectives, workload management, & escalation while being able to listen to business problems and chart the solution path for the team.
  • Work within an ITIL based support structure focusing on quality support, communication, engagement and establishing metrics to measure and report on the performance of all aspects within the Cloud Operation team.
  • Manage & direct project work for the team establishing timelines & holding the team accountable including system upgrades, new process rollouts, audits, migrations, etc.
  • Report on key team & service metrics, activities, project progress, etc. to leadership on a regular basis.
  • Contribute to the planning of application upgrades, releases, and configuration changes; provide input to implementation, backup and roll-back plans
  • Provide input to application/infrastructure scalability
  • Direct oversight, planning and secure operability of cloud applications such as Egnyte, O365, Zoom, Slack and Cloud Infrastructure such as AWS.
  • Ensure our infrastructure & network is always functioning as effectively and securely as possible.
  • Evaluate new software and hardware required to meet a business need or to make a process more effective.
  • Work with upper management to create a roadmap for our infrastructure needs. Draft a quarterly roadmap and vision board for the company team.
  • Draft timely requirements for the infrastructure engineering team to execute on plans.
  • Be a point of contact for all vendors, service providers, and consultants as it relates to our loud infrastructure and owned applications.

 

Minimum Qualification:

  • 3+ years experience supporting Cloud Infrastructure, SaaS applications and related architecture
  • 3+ years experience in a technical management role
  • Ability to undertake tasks in a dynamic environment including meeting deadlines, demonstrating commitment to customer service, working with limited supervision and adhering to workplace standards, procedures and agreements
  • Project management skills with complex environments
