SUMMARY:What Got You Here\, Won’t Get You There
DESCRIPTION:***What Got You Here\, Won’t Get You There*** \n**Moving from Individual Contributor to Team Leader**\n**Hosted by: [Jimmy\,](https://www.linkedin.com/in/thejimmy/)**[ ](https://www.linkedin.com/in/thejimmy/)**Chief AI Officer** \nThe skills that help you land the job aren’t always the same skills that help you lead. \nAs your career grows\, what’s expected of you changes. Technical skills may help you establish yourself as a strong individual contributor\, but moving into a manager\, tech lead\, or leadership role requires a different set of skills. \nIn this session\, we’ll explore that transition and discuss how your skills\, mindset\, and approach need to evolve as you move from doing great work yourself to helping people\, projects\, and teams succeed around you. \nWhether you’re working toward your first leadership opportunity or already navigating that transition\, we’d love to have you join the conversation. \n**Thursday\, October 22nd**\n**6:00 – 8:00 PM**\n**In Person @ Improving** \n**Register now! Space is limited!** Scan the QR code on the attached flyer or [CLICK HERE](https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/8H13SZcFs8) to register. You’ll receive a calendar invite with additional event details. \nA big thank you to **Improving** for hosting us! \nWe hope to see you there\, and in the meantime\, connect with us on our channels:\n**LinkedIn:** [Twin Cities Data Science Group](https://www.linkedin.com/groups/14611115/)\n**Meetup:** [Join Our Community](https://www.meetup.com/tcdatascience/)
