MEGAGAMES: How to have fun with 200 friends!
Megagames are a cross between board games and role-playing games with very large player counts (40-200). They are emergent, creative, social, chaotic experiences. In the presentation, we’ll dive deep into this unique genre and talk about design, logistics, and why megagames are the coolest thing ever.
Trenton Greyoak is a game designer and programmer who lives in MN. In the ancient times, he worked on MMOs (@Sony Online) but then went indie to have the power to make his own mistakes. When he’s not being distracted by megagames (his “hobby”) and occasional web/app dev contact work, he pours hours into his own video game projects but struggles to finish anything especially
