On Monday, October 29th over 300 techies, designers, investors, students and entrepreneurs descended on McNamara Alumni Center at the University of Minnesota to attend Minnedemo: Back to Campus. Minnedemo, held three times a year, is the premier showcase for working technology products and tech innovation in Minnesota. This time around we announced our newest event – Minnedemo: Back to Campus, a tech showcase highlighting the talent of students and recent graduates in the MN tech community.

We were excited to be working with the Minnesota Cup and the Holmes Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Minnesota, and hosting the event in the beautiful McNamara Alumni Center. Huge thank you to them, as well as our sponsors and community supporters for making this event possible. It was an incredible night of supporting and celebrating the #MNtech community’s newest talent.

The formula for our ‘geek show and tell’ is simple: 7 presenters, 7 minutes each, live demos of working tech made in MN. This time around we were proud to highlight these 7 truly incredible groups. Be sure to check out their demos below!

  • 67% of the presenters were women and/or people of color
  • The youngest presenter was 14 years old
