MN VR and HCI July: 2025: VELOCIBLASTER
July 23 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm CDT
Making VELOCIBLASTER – Matt Foreman
VELOCIBLASTER is a multiplayer VR sci-fi shooter for Quest and PC VR, where you play as a sentient velociraptor wielding high-tech blaster cannons. Fly with rocket thrusters, master vertical combat, and outmaneuver your raptor rivals to claim victory!
I’ll give a general overview of the concept, mechanics, and tech behind the game, as well as chat a bit about my experience in Meta’s Oculus Publishing Ignition program.
Anyone interested can get the alpha for free right now by joining velociblaster.com/discord and installing the game via the #alpha-access channel.
