MN VR and HCI Mar 2026: Blob Bash

Blob Bash – Physics, Combat, and Multiplayer in BlobTown presented by RJ White
Working at RevelVR on BlobTown for the last year, RJ has developed systems that added interactivity and game systems to a VR social app all about drawing with Blobs. In this talk RJ will go over :
- Generating colliders and special physics properties from 3D objects that can be made in any shape
- How these systems were applied and adjusted to create a competitive combat mode
- Considerations and techniques to make this all work as seamlessly as possible in large multiplayer lobbies on Meta Quest hardware
