MinneAMA: Podcasting 101
MinneAMAA couple months ago we launched our new educational series: MinneAMA. Each month, we host a virtual AMA (or Ask Me Anything) session on a different topic with subject matter experts from our community. You can ask questions and learn directly from industry leaders who know it best (all from the comfort of your home or office).
This month, we were lucky to be joined by Twila Dang (Matriarch Digital Media) and Jackie Biederman (StoryPop Media). They are experts when it comes to the wide world of podcasting, and we learned a ton!
Weren’t able to make it? Be sure to check out the video (and links to the resources discussed) below:
Links to some of the resources we discussed:
- Audacity – free tool for editing
- Pat Flynn How to Start a Podcast – for those that want to DIY
- Some hosting platforms: Blubrry, Buzzsprout, Podbean. And free ones (read the fine print) are Anchor and Soundcloud.
- Podcasting Tips – this is the page Jackie created that includes some of her fav resources for creating great audio
- Session notes, resources and more from our friends at Online Growth Systems
Don’t forget to join us next month (March 18th) when we talk to Jenessa White and Kristen Womack from Mina about How to Rock Pair Programming (get tickets here).
Can join us, but want to get your questions answered? Submit them ahead of time to support@minnestar.org and we will try and include them in the session.
