Minnebar Guide | Minnestar

BarCamps are held around the world from Swaziland to Seattle; Minnebar is rumored to be the largest in North America. There are no keynote speakers or formal workshops (although we sometimes host minor web celebrities), and all sessions are led by people from the tech and business community. The event is free and open to anyone with an interest.

Audio & Video

Prepping for your session is of utmost importance. Bring your own presentation device, your own display adapters, and any other special hardware you require to present. Have a back-up plan (local copy or your own hotspot) in case the Wi-Fi/Internet does not work. If you have special A/V needs let us know and we’ll see if we can help!

REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR OWN DISPLAY ADAPTERS.

Code of Conduct

Before attending or presenting at a Minnebar, please review our code of conduct. We value all of our attendees and presenters and strive to make each event a welcoming and fun space. Please keep these guidelines in mind as you’re creating your presentation.

Thinking of Submitting A Session?

Minnebar is a participatory event and everyone is encouraged (but not required) to sign up to lead discussions, talks, and panels on any subject in which they are interested. No matter what, come ready to jump into great sessions! We only have 2 rules: they must comply with our Code of Conduct, and they can’t be super salesy.

Each year, a couple months prior to the event, we open up our Sessionizer tool for folks to submit sessions and vote on ones they like.
