Simple, anyone!
Minnedemo is open to anyone who has created awesome technology projects without qualification. You can be a team from a local company of any size, a founder of a startup, or it can be a side project you created just for fun. We also welcome all types of tech – software, hardware, you name it. Looking for inspiration? Check out our roundup of some crowd favorites over the years.
The first step is the application itself , which we accept on a rolling basis.
We have a selections committee that review all submissions three times a year. After review, some applicants will be taken to a second round.
If you’re invited for second round review, we will ask you to submit a short, unedited video of you presenting your demo (as you would present it on stage, not a sales video). The committee reviews all video submissions, and then determines the final 7 presenters. More information, including selections timeline, will be provided to candidates.
Door open at 6pm, demos start at 7pm.
Networking, food, drinks available before and after demos.*
*Note: only food and drinks available depending on the venue
We want to see inspiring technology with a broad appeal.
Working on something cool? This means you! The big thing to remember when applying is that this is a live demo showcase – so really show off the tech, no sales pitches please. Looking for more tips? Check out our Strategies for Nailing Your Pitch or Demo.
Our mission is to further the thriving tech community in Minnesota, so our goal is to have a diverse lineup and showcase a wide variety of tech. We are curating a fun event, and want to make sure there are lots of great and varied demos to inform, entertain and inspire.
