Minnesota IT Services partnering with the Department of Human Services (MNIT DHS) is seeking a dynamic Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Platform Manager to lead a dedicated Salesforce team committed to the delivery of digital services that create a more efficient, responsive, and impactful customer-centric experience for the residents of Minnesota. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated servant leader to set the strategic direction for the MNIT DHS Salesforce Platform and to lead a cross functional delivery team focused on outcome-based delivery of value. In support of this mission, you will:
- Provide leadership, vision, and managerial oversight for the Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Platform within the MNIT DHS/MNsure organization.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Salesforce team responsible for the development, deployment, and operational functions assuring a high-quality foundation for digital service delivery now and in the future on the Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Platform.
- Determine the appropriate resource needs for development and support of the products on the Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Platform.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders, MN.IT Enterprise, and the Salesforce community to foster collaboration, gain support, and secure the necessary human and fiscal resources for transformational success.
This position is currently eligible for full-time telework:
- Only candidates located in Minnesota and bordering states (Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Wisconsin) are telework eligible.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must clearly demonstrate all of the following qualifications in their resume:
Position requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience in driving adoption and implementation of innovative technologies AND a minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience.
Experience must include:
- 3 years of experience in Salesforce administration, configuration, and customization.
- Proven track record of successfully leading a complex Salesforce implementation from inception to completion.
- Experience mentoring Salesforce developers or administrators and active involvement in Salesforce Community user groups.
- Experience managing external vendors, implementors, or independent software vendors, and Salesforce platform costs so that outcomes and value are realized.
- Ability to deliver effective verbal or written messages that facilitate a mutual understanding on both parties.
- Customer service skills that include active listening, empathy, and problem-solving.
Two (2) years of experience in a Systems Architect classification or two (2) years of experience in an external IT Architect role may substitute for the required supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active certifications of Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant and at least 150 Trailhead badges.
- Experience with product and/or agile delivery methodology.
- Commitment to transforming digital government services.
- Active leadership in Salesforce community user groups
- Salesforce Golden Hoodie recipient.
- A demonstrated commitment to ongoing personal professional development and mentorship of others through participation in Salesforce events, speaking engagements, and development of individual mentees.
- Development and execution of training programs or centers of excellence.
- Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
